The picturesque nature of the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park is primarily the result of the diversity of the terrain and the perfect harmonization of creations created in connection with the forces of nature and man-made objects.

When planning to spend your free time in the vicinity of Wleń, it is worth deciding to explore this area while hiking along marked trails, varied in terms of length and degree of difficulty.

Walking routes in the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park

In the area of about 11,000 hectares of the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park, many hiking routes have been marked out, and interestingly planned tourist routes allow visitors to get to know the area better and take advantage of its benefits.

When staying in the vicinity of Wleń, it is worth going on a hiking trip to Góra Gniazdo and Góra Zamkowa, ending with a short stay at the Lenno Palace and visiting the remains of the nearby Lenno Castle. For people who do not like or do not want to overexert themselves, an attractive option will be a short walk to Nielestno, along the route along the Chrośnicki stream or to Pilchowice, where on the way you can see the remains of a quarry where limestone was once mined.

For tourists who are focused on more active recreation and longer routes, a 10-kilometer long hike to Pilchowice, where you can see the highest stone arched dam in Poland, will be a great option. It is a route leading through the village of Pokrzywnik that attracts attention with its architecture, also taking into account the passage through the exceptionally picturesque, shaded by tall trees, the Wild Gorge, which is part of the palace park in Maciejowiec.
